Use Strong, Unique Passwords

A long passphrase like "purple-tiger-runs-fast" is far safer than "123456". Use a different password for each important account and consider a password manager.

Spot Phishing Attempts

Be suspicious of messages that create panic or urgency, ask you to click a strange link, or promise prizes. When in doubt, do not click.

Turn On Two-Factor Authentication

Adding a second step, like a code from your phone, means a stolen password alone is not enough for someone to get in.
